Don't you just love Sunflowers? My mom always grew them on the back fence line. Then she'd save the seed heads and set them out in the winter for the birds. She'd just lay a whole head out in lawn after a snow. That would keep the birds happy until the snow melted and they could fend for themselves.

I just came back from Italy and all the sunflowers were in bloom. It was amazing...I have never seen so many!

Gorgeous flower! the reason why i like sunflower it because it is so relaxing feeling if you see those flower specially the time thats they are starting to bloom.
